Description
The Buddies Interactive Dog Tennis Ball Launcher is the enrichment toy your dog can actually play with alone: a hands-free treat-dispensing tennis ball launcher that keeps clever, high-energy dogs mentally and physically engaged when you can't be there to throw the ball yourself.
Why owners love it
- Self-play enrichment: your dog drops the ball in, the machine launches it and dispenses a treat. Endless engagement.
- Adjustable launch distance: three settings from indoor-friendly (3m) to garden-length (7m).
- Solves separation boredom: mental stimulation for when you're at work, cooking, or on a call.
- Compatible with standard tennis balls: you probably have a bag of them already.
- Auto-shutoff after 15 minutes: prevents over-play. Safe for daily use.
Who it's for
Working breeds (border collies, shepherds, labradors, spaniels), high-energy dogs, dogs left alone during the workday, and any owner who's ever regretted teaching their dog to fetch.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you buy. Still unsure? Our UK team is happy to help.
Contact us →How long does it take to teach my dog?
Most dogs figure it out in 10–15 minutes with treat rewards. Border collies figure it out in about 90 seconds.
Is it loud?
55dB, quieter than a hairdryer. Nervous dogs may take a session to get used to the click.
Battery or mains?
Both. Rechargeable battery for the garden, USB-C for indoor use.
Will it damage the tennis balls?
No, the launcher uses spring pressure, not spinning wheels. Balls last as long as they normally would.
