Description
The Buddies Ultrasonic Tooth Cleaner lifts tartar using high-frequency vibration rather than scraping. It is quiet, which is the entire point — most dogs refuse dental care because of the noise, not the sensation.
Why owners choose Buddies
- Ultrasonic, not abrasive: vibration loosens build-up instead of scraping enamel.
- Quiet in use: far less alarming than a rotary tool.
- Comes with an oral mirror: you can actually see the back teeth, where the problems start.
- USB rechargeable: cordless and portable.
Who it's for
Maintaining teeth between professional cleans. It is not a replacement for a veterinary dental — if there is heavy tartar, red gums or bad breath, your dog needs a vet, not a gadget. Used regularly on reasonably healthy teeth, it slows build-up considerably.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you buy. Still unsure? Our UK team is happy to help.
Contact us →Does this replace a vet dental?
No. If there is heavy tartar, red gums or bad breath, your dog needs a veterinary dental under anaesthetic. This maintains reasonably healthy teeth between cleans.
Will my dog let me?
Build up over short sessions with plenty of reward. Start with the device off, then running but not touching, then a few seconds at a time.
How often should I use it?
A few short sessions a week does far more than one long one a month.
Is it safe on gums?
Keep the tip on the tooth surface rather than pressing into the gum line, and stop if you see any bleeding.
