Description

The Buddies No-Choke Dog Harness takes the pressure off your dog's throat and puts it across the chest where it belongs. For any dog that pulls — and particularly for flat-faced breeds, dogs with a collapsing trachea, or dogs recovering from neck or spinal issues — a harness is simply the safer way to walk.

Why owners choose Buddies

  • No-choke design: spreads load across the chest instead of the throat.
  • Impact-resistant structure: holds shape under a sudden lunge.
  • Elastic, stretchable fit: moves with your dog rather than restricting the shoulder.
  • Breathable fabric: air circulation for longer walks and warmer days.
  • Six sizes, 5–95 kg: from small terriers to giant breeds.

Who it's for

Every day walking for dogs of any size, and especially dogs who pull, brachycephalic breeds, and dogs whose vet has advised moving off a collar.

Frequently asked questions

Contact us →
Will a harness make my dog pull more?

A harness does not cause pulling, but it does make it more comfortable for your dog to pull. Pair it with loose-lead training rather than expecting the kit to solve it.

Is this a support harness for a disabled dog?

No, this is a walking harness. For dogs who need weight taken off their legs, use our support harness or rear-support sling instead.

How should it fit?

Two fingers should slide flat under any strap. Check the fit every few weeks, especially on a growing dog.

Is it good for a flat-faced breed?

Yes. Pugs, bulldogs and other brachycephalic breeds should generally be walked on a harness rather than a collar to keep pressure off the airway.
