Description

The Buddies Cordless Dog Clipper is built around the thing that actually goes wrong at home: the noise. Most dogs don't object to being trimmed, they object to a loud vibrating object near their head. A low-noise motor and rounded blade tips make grooming something your dog tolerates rather than dreads.

Why owners choose Buddies

  • Low-noise motor: markedly less alarming for nervous and noise-sensitive dogs.
  • Rounded blade tips: safer against the skin around the face, paws and sanitary areas.
  • Cordless and rechargeable: no trailing cable to spook a dog mid-trim.
  • Multiple guide combs: set a consistent length rather than guessing freehand.
  • Stainless steel blades: hold an edge through repeated use.

Who it's for

Owners grooming at home between salon visits, nervous dogs who find professional grooming stressful, and anyone maintaining a coat that mats quickly. Also useful for keeping paw pads and sanitary areas tidy on senior or less mobile dogs.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you buy. Still unsure? Our UK team is happy to help.

Contact us →
Can it handle a thick double coat?

For heavy double coats choose the upgraded thick cutter head set. Brush and de-shed thoroughly first, as clipping through matted undercoat will stall any clipper.

Should I clip a double-coated breed at all?

Generally no. Shaving a double coat can damage regrowth and their natural temperature regulation. Use these for tidying feet, sanitary areas and single-coated breeds.

How do I keep the blades working?

Brush out hair after every use and oil the blades regularly. Most clipper complaints are blunt or clogged blades, not motor failure.

How long does the charge last?

Enough for a full groom on most dogs. Charge fully before the first use.
